What are we doing at JC Naz?

We support our local evangelism and discipleship efforts through sharing and giving for the local ministries happening.  We, as a church, have adopted a local elementary school and are helping with various needs they have.  We also, have helped provide clothing for the local school nurses to help various students with emergency needs.

Crisis Care Kits – we have supported national and international disaster relief by creating crisis care kits.

International missions – Albania – we support three Nazarene Churches in Albania.  Gorre, Lushnje, and Kolonia.  Our connection has been through Whitney Peck serving with Operation Mobilization in Albania.  She has been primarily helping serve in the Nazarene churches there with the teen girls teaching music and coaching basketball.

Links family – Dave and Kim Hane are missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene and serve in Singapore in the Asia-Pacific regional office.

Dave and Kim were first appointed as missionaries in 1991 and were assigned to the regional office, then located in Manila, Philippines.  In 2006, they moved with the regional office team to the current location in Singapore.

Dave received a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.  He received an M.A.T. in mathematics from the University of Alaska – Fairbanks.  He received an M.Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1991.

Kim received a B.B.A. in Travel Industry Management from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.  She received a Master of Arts degree in Missions from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1991.

Dave serves as the Regional Personnel coordinator.  In addition to being a full-time mom, Kim assists in regional office duties as needed.   Dave and Kim also pastor an organic church in Singapore that was officially registered in February 2016.

The Hanes have two children.  Joy is finishing her sophomore year of High School in Singapore.  Jonathan graduated from Southern Nazarene University in May 2017 and is now working as an intern at a Christian Media School in Thailand.

Compassionate Ministries Child Sponsorship – JC Naz is sponsoring a young lady from the Philippines named Erika.  Anyone can sponsor a child for $30.00 per month.  Our global goal is to have 20,000 children sponsored by 2020.  We have a little over 11,000 now.
